Letter to the delegates

 

Dear Delegates,

I have pleasure to cordially invite and welcome you at the International Conference on Development to be held in Bangkok, the most desired picturesque spot for the tourists in the land of beautiful Thailand and from 24th February to 27th February 2011.

In the opinion of archeological studies the South East Asian countries were inhibited for more than 4000 years B.C. very close to Bronze Age. Most of the descendents / modern comprising of different communities are from them and the rest from nearby country like China. Agricultural and other cultural heritage have been transmitted gradually. Later Malay, Mon and Khmer civilizations flourished in the region prior to the arrival of ethnic Tai.

The Thai dates the founding of their nation to the 13th century in 1238 throwing over their Khmer overlords at Sukhothai and established a Thai kingdom. A new Thai kingdom that emerged in 1350 on the Chao Praya River at Ayuthkaya and ruled over 400 years. Though there was a difference between the Hindu Kingdom nearby Angkor and the Thai, the Thai rulers gradually took up Buddhism and was adopted as religion. Bangkok, the new city and present capital Hourished with its immense affluence on the Chao Praya River.

Thailand is best known for its hospitality and amiable behavior of the common people. The country’s main economy is expert and rest on tourism, which contribute a major share in their GDP.

In the context of the present Global phenomena IIMS expresses its strong feeling for issues of development management as a prime instrument for revival from the present volatile conditions of the Globe.

IIMS feels that, in the revival process of all these present unrest and volatile issues like economy recession, environmental and climatic hazards, acute unemployment problems and of course the maintenance of Global peace the functions for development Management processes in different segments are must need in the context of present scenario of the Globe.

I invite all the delegates to contribute their sincere efforts in this revival process and co-operate in all respects to make a beautiful and clear world to live in for the present and generations to come.
