International Institute of Management Sciences (IIMS) came into existence in 1979. IIMS was the first institute in India to receive All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India, approval in 1991 for offering PGDBA (equivalent to MBA) in distance learning mode. IIMS commenced 2-year full-time MBA Programme in 2004 with the approval of AICTE Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and is affiliated to Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology (formely known as West Bengal University of Technology). The Institute is also affiliated to Vidyasagar University for conducting MBA course through distance learning mode.

In 2011, IIMS joined hands with Auckland Institute of Studies, one of the largest independent tertiary education institutions in Auckland, New Zealand, to introduce MBA and undergraduate programmes through cross-credit pathway.

In order to further strengthen, develop and expand IIMS’ effort in promoting higher education, research work, conferences and projects, recently in the year 2015, IIMS tied up with a new independent research and development vertical known as International Institute for Research and Application (IIRA), to support the distinguished researchers in their application driven research projects.

IIMS strong belief in creativity and excellence has earned itself tributes from AICTE for its innovative and pragmatic approach to Management Education and Learning.

fujairah-universityShih Chien University, Taipei, Taiwan The name “ Shih Chien , “ which in Chinese means “ practice”, originated from the belief of Wang Yangming , a great Chinese philosopher: “ Knowledge is the beginning of practice. Doing is the completion of knowing” . ( 1498) . Shih Chien University kept this motto in mind while implementing and expanding its educational vision.

Over the years , the institution evolved from a junior college to a bachelor’s degree granting institution and was renamed Shih Chien College of Design and Management in 1991 in 1997, the institution was promoted to university status. Today, the University is made up of the college of Human Ecology the college of Design and the college of Management . The University has one campus in Taipei and another in Koshiung, and is home to approximately 15,000 students and 700 faculty and staff. The university is one of the most internationalized schools in Taiwan, it has bilateral agreements with more than 115 universities around the world.

The Taipei Campus of Shih Chien University is conveniently located in the heart of the Taipei City, within a 5 minutes walk from DaZhi MRT station on the Brown Line. The campus is equipped with modern facilities including two big conference room , computers, and presentation equipment.

The English Taught Program in International Business (ETP) , which belongs to the College of Management, will host the conference together with Office of International Affairs. All materials will be in English, and the students of ETP will gladly provide guidance and assistance to conference participants in English.

Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) is Malaysia’s largest institution of higher learning in terms of size and population. The initial journey of present Cavite State University was from an intermediate school in 1906, in the hands of American teachers. Through various changes in 1964 it was converted into a State College & ultimately in 1998 it was born as Cavite State University & at present it has 11 campuses over 70 hectares of land.

CvSU is mandated “to provide excellent, equitable and relevant educational opportunities in the arts, sciences and technology through quality instruction, and responsive research and development activities. It shall produce professional, skilled and morally upright individuals for global competitiveness.”

The University is offering close to 100 curricular programs in the undergraduate and graduate levels. It has more than 25,000 students and 1,200 faculty and staff from all campuses. The University is also authorized to certify and confer appropriate academic degrees in accordance with the Expanded Tertiary Education and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP). It has also been accredited by TESDA.

Xuzhou University of Technology is situated in Xuzhou, a national historical and cultural city and the center of Huaihai Economic Zone. It has more than 50 years history. It is one of the full-time regular undergraduate colleges and universities. It covers an area of 1990.5mu.

The University consists of 14 schools and one School of Adult Education, having 46 undergraduate majors. Currently it has a total enrollment of 20,338 full-time students. The University now has 1269 full-time teachers, including 360 professors and associate- professors.

The college advance the internationalization strategy deeply. In recent years, XUT have established a stable cooperative relationship with 15 institutes from 11 countries, such as United States, France, Russia etc. It holds 10 cooperation projects in running school, training 1470 students, sending 100 students to learn abroad every year as well. It also promotes “Middle-aged Backbone Teachers Overseas Training Project”, and there are 384 teachers and managerial staff who were dispatched to colleges to training, visit and study for degree in some countries such as United Sates, United Kingdom, South Korea, French etc. At the same time, the international students work, Sino-foreign cooperation in scientific research and international promotion of Chinese continuously made new achievements. The college is listed as the one of the universities accepting Jiangsu Province “Jasmine Scholarship” and has admitted over 40 international students whose from South Korea, United Kingdom and Comorin and so on. It employs 30 foreign teachers every year, and 3 of them are awarded “The Jiangsu Province May 1 Labour Medal”.

International Institute for Research and Application (IIRA) is an autonomous application based research institute based in Kolkata, India. It was established in the year 2015. It has been conceived and founded by Dr. Sandip Kar, Chairman of IIMS Kolkata and a passionate educationist whose objective is to promote and cater opportunities to motivated and qualified individuals to support their application driven research projects specifically in the areas of national and global needs.

At IIRA research activities is conducted in the frontline areas of Management, Economics, Science, Sociology and other applied areas.

Both our faculties and students work together on research projects focusing not only on the study of development and management sciences but which are also involved in improving lives and contributing to better well-being of the society as a whole.

IIRA research team is composed of dedicated researchers, academicians and faculties from different cultural backgrounds across the globe.
